I'd say that Skillshare is a off-beat library for somebody who's still exploring pursuits, whereas Udemy would be for the professional who wishes to learn X, Y, Z for their professional and self development on occasion.

Thus, if you would like actionable practice and work, Skillshare provides projects which you may do (or not do) and enhance your portfolio. You can also spend the formulation and keep tabs on.
